Nicole Galland is an award-winning performer and screenwriter who mostly, sort of, swore off the performing arts to pursue writing fiction full time. Her work spans the spectrum from historical to Shakespearean to contemporary rom-com to speculative fiction.

Born in New York and raised on Martha's Vineyard, Galland graduated with an honors degree in comparative religion from Harvard University whilst studying theatre and performing in or directing more than two dozen shows. She has also worked as a stage director, dramaturg, X-wing fighter pilot, script doctor, and freelance editor. She lives in Massachusetts.
