Janet Kauffman is a writer, hybrid media artist, and environmental activist working on natural area protection and water quality issues in the agricultural watersheds of southeast Michigan. Her most recent book is the poetry collection, Eco-dementia. In 2020, she assembled two pandemic books of photo/text projects, The Book of Nails, and all things being equal: the democracy of debris.
